It's not just a slogan, it's how we do things.  We inspect our shipments coming in and we inspect our flowers and plants before they go out. We are family owned and operated and have been serving the Greater Belleville area since 1890. Yes, 1890, that's not a typo!  We are a 5th generation florist committed to offering only the finest floral arrangements and gifts, backed by service that is friendly and prompt. Our shop is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.

We are closed on Sundays.

To help assure on-time delivery during the busy holiday season, place your order at least 3 days prior to the following major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, Easter, Administrative Professionals Week, Mother's Day, and Father's Day.

Our shop will always be closed on the following holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day, Family Day, Good Friday and Easter Sunday, Mother’s Day, Victoria Day, Father’s Day, Canada Day, Civic Holiday, and Labour Day.

Delivery Policy

We always call ahead for residential deliveries. This ensures that someone will be home to receive the flowers and we can confirm the address. We do NOT leave flowers outside unless told to do so by the recipient. 

A local delivery fee of $11.95 will be added to each order, for each address.

We have a higher delivery fee for our rural deliveries. When we receive your order at the shop we may add a few dollars for an out of town delivery. We will do our best to contact you if we have to change the amount on your credit card. Delivery of orders to rural route addresses or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed.

 

We have free delivery to local funeral homes and hospitals but the website is set up to charge all orders with our delivery fee.  We may either remove the delivery fee, thereby decreasing your cost or add in flowers to the order to the value of the delivery fee, keeping your total the same. If you have a preference for how we handle the delivery fee please send an e-mail to us. We will do our best to contact you if we have to change the amount on your credit card.

Orders must be received before 12:00 noon in the recipient's time zone to assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time ,may be delivered the following day.

We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at specific times of day, but we cannot guarantee it.

We are unable to make deliveries on Sundays. Deliveries requested on this day will be delivered the following business day.

We will be happy to accept your international orders if you call our shop directly. We are unable to accept international orders over the Internet.

All prices on our site are applicable to orders filled and delivered by Barber's Flowers. If the order is wired out to a florist for delivery in another city, our prices cannot be guaranteed and extra charges may be applied to your credit card.

Substitution Policy

Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your bouquet due to the availability of certain flowers in various parts of the country. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of equal value. Additionally, the substitution of certain keepsake items may be necessary due to increased demand, especially during major holidays. In single-flower arrangements, such as an all rose bouquet, or orchids, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color.
